Parents, this is just a reminder to what has been sent home to you recently.
1. Conn Center Rehearsal Day will be December 12th, at school during the school day. You signed a permission form at the beginning of the year to allow your child to attend this.
2. The Christmas Concert will be Tuesday, December 13th, at 7:00. Your child needs to be in their seat for attendance at 6:45. Please be sure they are there at that time. In addition to fine choral singing, we also find it very important to teach our students proper concert etiquette. In order to do that, all students will need to stay in their seats and watch the concert to its completion. Thank you for your support in this.
3. DVDs will be sold of the concert for $20. Order forms have been sent already with your child. If you need another one, please ask your child to get another one.
4. Choir picture day will follow on December 14th. Make sure your child is wearing their concert clothes from the night before.
As an additional reminder here is the concert dress-
All choir students will need to wear black DRESS pants (no jeans, etc.), black belt, black socks, and black DRESS (not gym) shoes.
8th Grade- Solid red polo shirt
7th Grade- Solid green polo shirt
6th Grade- Solid red, white, gold, or green polo shirt.
Thank you for all of your support in the choral department!

The end of the year is approaching very quickly. Here are a few items of interest for parents and students to take note of...
1. Choir DVD Sales- Our spring concert DVDs have arrived and they are fantastic! You may purchase one for $15. We also have some Christmas concert DVDs left as well for $15. You may purchase both DVDs for $25 as well. A form will be sent home with your child with ordering information on it. Please be sure to fill it out and send it in with the money with your child as soon as possible. Parents, we know that you will treasure these memories as your child grows up.
2. Pizza Party- The fruit sale fundraising party will be Tuesday, May 17th. This will be directly after school until 4:00. If your child sold at least 10 boxes of fruit, they are eligible to participate.
3. Six Flags- We will be having our 8th Grade Six Flags field trip on Saturday, May 21st. Students will need to meet at the OMS choir room at 7:45 am. Be sure to give your child enough money for lunch and dinner that day. Keep in mind that amusement parks have higher food prices as well. We will arrive back at OMS at 9:30 pm. Please be sure to be there to pick up your child at that time. Thanks!
